When it comes to sheer flower power, no other plants measure up to the prolific blooming of annuals. They are fast growing and add almost instant color to your landscape.  You can use them like a painter's palette to create color in a garden wherever it is needed. Many annuals bloom practically nonstop from late spring or early summer until fall's first frost. 

Things to keep in mind when planning your flower beds:

1. Amount of sunlight 
2. Soil quality
3. Heat tolerance
4. Bloom pattern/timing
5. Color/theme
